Product Overview

Introduction

Product Name

SONOFF NSPanel Smart Scene Wall Switch

Product Model

NSPanel-EU/US

NSPanel is a control panel with an HMI screen and two-way switches, offering both app-based and device-based control interfaces. It features a temperature sensor, two relays, and a TFT screen. As a wall switch, it controls two output loads. It also manages devices like heating and cooling connected to your eWeLink account to maintain a constant temperature in the surrounding environment. Additionally, it serves as a control panel, displaying other devices, groups, and scenes on the device interface for direct control.

Highlights

① Real-time Weather and Indoor Temperature Display

It provides real-time outdoor weather updates and accurate time display, with a built-in temperature sensor to help you monitor changes in indoor ambient temperature.

②Dual-Control Methods

The physical switch directly controls local loads (such as lighting/devices), while the touchscreen provides smart control, allowing synchronization and management of smart devices under the same account. Frequently used devices, groups, and manual scenes are displayed on the screen, enabling control without the need to open the app.

③Temperature Control

The built-in temperature sensor allows the NSPanel to connect with other heating and cooling devices, managing indoor temperature through both manual and automatic modes, creating a comfortable environment.

④Timer & Schedule

Set up custom schedules and countdown timers to automate your appliances based on your lifestyle.

⑤ Smart Scene

  • Instant Setup: Activate complex routines with a single tap.
  • Whole-Home Synchronization: Cross-device automation within the Sonoff ecosystem – build your personalized smart scenarios.

Applications

  • Light Control

When returning home, turn on the lights with a physical button, and before bed, turn off the lights directly through the app.

  • Heating System AC Solenoid Valve Control

NSPanel can achieve intelligent heating management by directly connecting to an AC solenoid valve. When the built-in sensor detects that the room temperature exceeds the preset upper limit, the system will automatically close the solenoid valve to cut off the underfloor heating water supply. Once the temperature drops to the preset lower limit, the valve will reopen to allow the hot water to circulate, thereby precisely maintaining the indoor temperature in a stable state.

  • Smart Scene with Dry Device

Connect the dry contact device 4CHRPOR3 directly to the boiler and set up a smart scene to enable the NSPanel to automatically interact with the 4CHRPOR3. When NSPanel detects that the ambient temperature falls below the set value, it will turn on 4CHRPOR3, which in turn activates the boiler to raise the room temperature. Conversely, when the temperature rises above the set value, the boiler will be turned off to lower the room temperature.

FAQ

  1. What devices are supported by NSPanel?

         NSPanel_Supported_Devices_List.pdf

  1. Can temperature be used as a trigger to control other devices?
Yes, while the "Temperature Control" feature on NSPanel allows only one device to be displayed and controlled on the screen, temperature can still be used as a trigger condition in smart scenes to control additional devices under the same account. Moreover, the on/off status of NSPanel's two channels can also serve as trigger conditions and actions within scenes.
  2. Can NSPanel be used after losing network connection?
After losing network connection, features such as the thermostat and screen components that rely on the server will be unavailable. However, basic functions like switching the device on/off, Power-on State, and inching setting can still be controlled via the local area network (LAN). As long as the device is powered on, it can still function as a regular wall switch, even when it is not connected to the network or router.
  3. How many time periods can be set for the automatic mode in the "Temperature Control" feature?
    Up to 6 periods.
  4. Can the NSPanel screen be set to turn off at a scheduled time?
Yes, to reduce light pollution and lower energy consumption, you can set a scheduled time for the NSPanel screen to turn off.

Troubleshooting

  1. Fail to pair Wi-Fi devices to the eWeLink APP.
  • Make sure the device is in pairing mode.
  • After three minutes of unsuccessful pairing, the device will automatically exit pairing mode.
  • Please turn on location services and allow location permission.
  • Before choosing the Wi-Fi network, location services should be turned on and location permission should be allowed. Location information permission is used to obtain Wi-Fi list information. If you click Disable, you will not be able to add devices.
  • Make sure your Wi-Fi network runs on the 2.4GHz band.
  • Make sure you entered a correct Wi-Fi SSID and password, no special characters contained.
  • The wrong password is a very common reason for pairing failure.
  • The device shall get close to the router for a good transmission signal condition while pairing.
  • Please try to pair it in compatible mode.
