FAQ

1. How does RFR2 pair with the RF Remote Controller?

The RFR2 supports the remote controller with 433.92MHz frequency brand to turn on/off, and each channel can learn it independently, which is local short-range wireless controlnot Wi-Fi control.

Pairing Method:

Long-press the configuration button for 3s until the red LED indicator flashes red once, then press the remote control button you want to pair for successful learning

Clearing Method:

Long-press the configuration button for 5s until the red LED indicator flashes red twice, then short-press the learned button corresponding to the remote controller to clear the code values of all learned buttons.

2. Why does my device stay "Offline"?

The newly added device needs 1-2 mins to connect to Wi-Fi and the network. lf it stays offline for a long time, please judge these problems by the green Wi-Fi indicator status:

1. The green Wi-Fi indicator quickly flashes once per second, which means that the switch failed to connect to your Wi-Fi:

① Maybe you have entered the wrong Wi-Fi password.

② Maybe there's too much distance between the switch your router and the environment, causing interference; consider getting closer to the router. If it failed, please add it again.

③ The 5G Wi-Fi network is not supported and only supports the 2.4 GHz wireless network.

④Maybe the MAC address filtering is open. Please turn it off. If none of the above methods solved the problem, you can open the mobile data network on your phone to create a Wi-Fi hotspot, then add the device again.

2. The green indicator quickly flashes twice per second, which means your device has connected to

Wi-Fi but failed to connect to the server. Ensure a steady enough network. If double flash occurs frequently, which means you access an unsteady network, not a product problem. If the network is normal, try to turn off the power to restart the switch.

Troubleshooting

1. Unable to pair with Wi-Fi

Make sure your mobile device and BASICR4 are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Make sure the device is in pairing mode.

2. RFR2 shows as offline in the app

Check if the device has power.

Ensure Wi-Fi coverage is stable and strong.

If the device is too far from the router, try relocating it or using a Wi-Fi extender.
