Installation
First, wrap the thread seal tape around the thread of the faucet, then screw the nut of the water inlet of the equipment onto the faucet. After testing that there is no leakage, finally connect the hose to the water outlet of the equipment (if the water outlet leaks, please wrap thread seal tape around the thread of the water outlet).
*It is recommended to install vertically as horizontal installation may increase the error in flow rate measurement.
Effective Communication Distance Verification
Install the device in the desired place, then press the Pairing button on the device. The LED indicator flashes twice means the device and the device under the same Zigbee network (the router device or hub) are in the effective communication distance.
FAQ
- What's the difference between SWV-BSP and SWV-NH? Can they be used together?
SWV-BSP and SWV-NH are smart water valves designed for different regions. They offer the same features, but differ in their inlet and outlet thread specifications.
They are not interchangeable unless your piping system supports both standards.

- How do I schedule irrigation at a fixed date or time?
You can select the timing as the trigger condition in the App--Smart Scene, and then select the SWV device as the execution action to open/close the water valve at the time you need. - The water is flowing, but the device shows "No Water" and shuts off automatically — why?
If the flow rate is below 2L/min, the device will detect it as a "No Water" condition and automatically shut off the valve after 30 minutes.
If this happens frequently, try increasing the water flow, or consider using the device with Z2M for more flexible configuration. - What is the flow rate range that the flow meter of the device can detect?
The flow meter can detect the range of 2~3.9L/min. Please keep the water flow rate within this range. - How long is the battery life of the device?
Based on our testing (1-hour watering per day, standby the rest of the time), the battery life can reach up to 20 months.
Note: The SWV does not include batteries. The estimated battery life is based on 2800mAh batteries and may vary depending on battery quality and usage habits. - Will unstable water pressure affect the irrigation volume statistics?
No.
The SWV automatically adjusts calculations based on actual flow rate, even under fluctuating water pressure, to ensure accurate irrigation volume tracking.
Troubleshooting
- What should I do if the water valve is leaking?
If you notice leakage, please try the following steps:
- For minor leaks, try using the sealing tape included in the package to improve the seal.
- For more serious leaks, use the rubber gasket provided in the package. It can be placed between the faucet and the inlet if there is a large gap.
If the problem persists, please contact our after-sales support team.
- The gateway shows the latest version, but the SWV does not have all functions?
Please confirm whether the SWV was added while the gateway was still on an older firmware version, and then the gateway was upgraded to the latest version.
If the device was added before upgrading, you need to delete the SWV and re-add it after the gateway update to enable all device features. - The device does not work in low temperatures?
The SWV cannot be used in low-temperature environments. Its operating temperature range is 5~60℃. Please use the device within this range.
In freezing conditions, the inlet/outlet ports may freeze, preventing normal valve control and irrigation volume statistics.
Therefore, we recommend bringing the SWV indoors during winter and only using it again when temperatures rise and irrigation is needed.
