WARNING:

  • Please install and maintain the device by a professional electrician. To avoid electric shock hazard, do not operate any connection or contact the terminal connector while the device is powered on!
  • The device weighs less than 1 kg. The installation height of less than 2 m is recommended.

Add Device

Open eWeLink, tap "+” and select "Add Device", then follow the prompt on the App.

Notice:

  • It's required to turn on the Bluetooth on your Phone when adding a device.
  • After powering on, the device will enter the Bluetooth pairing mode during the first use.
  • The Wi-Fi LED indicator changes in a cycle of two short and one long flash and release.
  • The device will exit the Bluetooth pairing mode if not paired within 3 minutes. If you want to enter this mode, please long-press the manual button for about 5s until the Wi-Fi LED indicator changes in a cycle of two short and one long flash and release.

1. Does POW Origin support high-power appliances?

Yes. POW Origin supports a maximum load of 16A, making it suitable for high-power appliances such as water heaters or lighting systems. Please ensure the connected load does not exceed this limit.

2. Can I view real-time power data on my phone?

Yes. You can monitor real-time voltage, current, power, and cumulative energy consumption directly from the eWeLink app.

3. How long is the energy usage history stored?

POW Origin stores up to 6 months of hourly energy consumption data, which can be viewed in the app or exported to Excel for analysis.

4. Does POW Origin support voice control?

Yes. It supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to turn connected devices on or off using simple voice commands.

5. What happens when power is restored after an outage?

POW Origin allows you to set the Power-on State in the app:

ON/OFF/Keep the last state before power-off

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot pair with Wi-Fi

Make sure the device is in pairing mode.

Make sure your mobile device and POW Origin are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

2. POW Origin is paired but cannot be controlled remotely

Check if the device is powered on and the LED is steadily lit (indicating a successful connection).

Ensure your phone has internet access.

Try rebooting the router and the device or re-pairing it via the app.

3. POW Origin shows offline in the app

Ensure the device has not lost power.

Check Wi-Fi coverage and avoid placing the device too far from the router.

Try rebooting or resetting the device if the issue persists.
