Set up custom schedules and countdown timers to automate your appliances based on your lifestyle.
Applications
- Rice Cooker/Electric Kettle: Remote control and scheduling—cook meals or boil water before leaving work, enjoy hot food/drinks as soon as you get home.
- Monitor/Desk Lamp: Automatic shut-off after work hours to reduce standby power consumption.
- Charger: Smart timers for phone/tablet chargers to prevent overcharging and extend battery life.
- etc...
⚠️ Not recommended equipment:
These devices often draw a high inrush current at startup, which can exceed the plug's rated current and potentially cause damage.
EV charging typically demands higher power, often exceeding the plug's rated current capacity. |

FAQ
1. Are smart plugs compatible with all electrical appliances?
Smart plugs work with most appliances that have a mechanical on/off switch, such as lights, fans, coffee makers, and heaters.
2. Do smart plugs increase power consumption?
Smart plugs consume an extremely small amount of standby power (usually below 1W).
3. Does the device need to be in the same room as Amazon Echo/Google Assistant?
No. The device is bound to the voice assistant through cloud-to-cloud integration. As long as the two accounts are paired and the devices are online, they can be controlled by the voice assistants anywhere.
4. Can I plug a power strip into the smart plug?
It is not suggested to connect a power strip to a smart plug. In general, a plug has a smaller maximum load capacity than a power strip. Furthermore, overload devices (for the smart plug) can be easily attached to the power strip without awareness, increasing the risk of product damage.
Troubleshooting
1. Why does the device shut off automatically even though I didn't enable "Overload Protection"?
The smart socket's maximum current and power thresholds are always active for safety. If the load exceeds these limits, the device automatically cuts off power to prevent overheating or fire hazards.
2. After turning off my TV using a smart plug, why can't I turn it back on with the remote control?
Most TVs enter standby mode when turned off with the remote. However, the smart plug cuts off all power to the TV when it turns it off. Therefore, after powering off with the plug, you should first turn the plug back on before using the TV remote to switch it on.
