FAQ

1. What sensors are compatible with the SONOFF TH Elite?

TH Elite supports THS01 (temperature & humidity sensor), WTS01/DS18B20 (temperature sensor), and MS01 (soil moisture sensor). Only one sensor can be connected at a time.

2. Can I check the temperature and humidity history?

Yes. The eWeLink app stores up to 6 months of hourly temperature and humidity data, which can be exported as an Excel file for analysis.

3. Does TH Elite support automation based on temperature or humidity?

Yes. You can create smart scenes or schedules that automatically control appliances when temperature or humidity reaches a certain value.

4. Can I use TH Elite with voice assistants?

Yes. TH Elite supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for voice-based device control and environmental queries.

5. Is the dry contact output consistent with that of a standard relay?

Yes, the dry contact output behaves like a standard relay with three terminals:

  • NC (Normally Closed)
  • NO (Normally Open)
  • COM (Common)

When the relay is off, the circuit between NO and COM is open, so any load connected here will also be off, in sync with the relay.

Conversely, the circuit between NC and COM is closed when the relay is off, meaning the load connected here will be on. When the relay switches on, the behavior reverses.

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot pair with Wi-Fi

Make sure the device is in pairing mode.

Make sure your mobile device and TH Elite are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

2. TH Elite is paired but cannot be controlled remotely

Check if the device is powered on and the LED is steadily lit (indicating a successful connection).

Ensure your phone has internet access.

Try rebooting the router and the device or re-pairing it via the app.

3. TH Elite shows offline in the app

Ensure the device has not lost power.

Check Wi-Fi coverage and avoid placing the device too far from the router.

Try rebooting or resetting the device if the issue persists.
